The article provides an analysis of Alisher Navoi’s poem “Lison ut-tair” (The Language of the Birds) and a rare copy of this work, executed in 960/1553 in Bukhara, stored in the National Library of Paris (Suppl. Turk 996.), as well as miniatures done for the poem. Along with this, a comparative analysis of the text of the stories about Sheikh Sanan, the Shah and the Dervish, the miser, the miser from Basra, Asma’i and the beloved and the plots of miniatures made for these stories was carried out. Discussions are given about the symbolic interpretation of images in miniatures through the color, landscape and other elements used by miniaturists, and clarifications to some erroneous ideas about miniatures are made.

This article analyzes the issues of preservation and promotion of Uzbek folk music. Folk music is an integral part of national culture, and its transmission from generation to generation is one of the important tasks. This article provides information on dramatic works that transitioned from one genre to another in Karakalpak national dramaturgy starting from the 1930s. In particular, a comprehensive analysis has been conducted on the differences, shortcomings, and achievements of M. Daribaev's drama "G'arip Ashiq" compared to the epic. Furthermore, scholarly conclusions have been drawn regarding the characters and actions of the additional characters not included in the epic but included in the play by the author.

As a representative of the literary environment of the 15th century, Alisher Navoi was a creator who well understood the literary demands and needs of his time and was able to respond to them appropriately, enriching the literary tradition of his time and developing it to a high level. Navoi’s experience in the field of epic poetry can be seen in the epic poem “Layli and Majnun”. Like his predecessors Nizomi and Dehlaviy, Navoi also presents the image of Majnun, who is obsessed with love. However, this image has a special meaning in Navoi’s interpretation. The article also analyses Majnun’s love through the motif of fainting.

The article provides a broad and in-depth analysis of the artistic language of poetic works and its impact on students, and recommends various methodological approaches that are effective in teaching these aspects. In particular, the need to use modern pedagogical methods to develop the skills of understanding, analyzing artistic means in poems and deriving aesthetic pleasure from them is emphasized. In this sense, the article highlights the application of innovative approaches such as cluster, problem-based learning, and illustrative methods to the educational process as an important aspect. In particular, the issue of developing students’ aesthetic taste and artistic thinking through examples of poetic works in the barmoq, free and aruz systems presented in literature textbooks for grades 5-7 is widely covered.

This article classifies some of the poems in the “Gulshani Dilafgor” collection.  The study of lyrical works in the collection of the poet “Gulshani Dilafgor” shows that Dilafgor could not avoid the themes that accompanied the poets in Uzbek classical poetry.

If teaching is to be valued more highly, it is important to explore the nature of teachers’ pedagogical reasoning in more depth, as it offers a window into the complex and nuanced knowledge of practice that influences what they do, how they do it and why they do it.

This article examines the linguocultural significance of toponymic phraseological units in English and Uzbek. By analyzing how these expressions derive meaning from geographical names, the study highlights the cultural values, historical contexts, and social norms embedded within them. Through qualitative methods, including interviews and literature review, the research reveals the shared and divergent features of toponymic phrases across both languages, emphasizing their role in shaping cultural identity.
