Systemic scleroderma (SSc) is a stage-progressive multisystem disease characterized by vasospastic vascular reactions and progressive generalized vasculopathy accompanied by ischemic disorders. Capillaroscopic changes play an important diagnostic role in systemic scleroderma. This article is devoted to the study of diagnostic aspects of SSc, including a detailed description of the methodology and interpretation of capillaroscopy findings.
