COMPLEX SENTENCE THEORY AND ITS STRUCTURAL AND SEMANTIC TYPES

This paper explores the theory of complex sentences and examines their structural and semantic classifications in modern English. A complex sentence is defined as a syntactic construction consisting of one main clause and one or more subordinate clauses. The study focuses on the most common types of subordinate clauses: subject clauses, object clauses, predicative clauses, and attributive (appositive) clauses. Each type is analyzed from both structural and semantic perspectives, with illustrative examples to demonstrate their functions in discourse. The paper also highlights the role of conjunctions and relative words in forming complex sentences. The findings show that complex sentences play a crucial role in expressing logical relationships, expanding meaning, and achieving syntactic variety in written and spoken English. Understanding the theory of complex sentences is essential for linguistic analysis and effective language teaching.

COMPLEX SENTENCE: THEORY, STRUCTURAL AND SEMANTIC TYPES

The complex sentence occupies a central position in theoretical English grammar, as it reflects the speaker’s ability to express logically and semantically interrelated ideas within a single syntactic structure. A complex sentence consists of one independent (principal) clause and one or more dependent (subordinate) clauses, which are grammatically and semantically linked to the main clause. This article examines the theoretical foundations of the complex sentence, its structural and semantic classification, and provides a detailed analysis of complex sentences containing subject, object, predicative, attributive, and appositive clauses. The study aims to systematize the main approaches to the classification of complex sentences and to demonstrate the functional diversity of subordinate clauses in modern English.

COMPLEX SENTENCES WITH ADVERBIAL CLAUSES OF TIME AND PLACE, REASON, PURPOSE, CONDITION, CONCESSION, MANNER COMPARISON, RESULT, DEGREE AND MEASURE. CLEFT SENTENCES

In linguistics, complex sentences play a central role in expressing relationships between ideas, events, and circumstances. Among the many types of subordinate clauses found in complex structures, adverbial clauses of time are particularly significant because they allow speakers and writers to situate actions chronologically. These clauses contribute to textual cohesion, clarify sequence, and enhance the precision of temporal meaning in communication. Complex sentences are essential for expressing intricate relationships between ideas. Among the various types of subordinate clauses, adverbial clauses of place hold an important position, as they allow speakers and writers to specify where an action occurs.Among the various types of subordinate clauses, adverbial clauses of reason serve a particularly important function because they explain why something happens.Among the many types of subordinate clauses, adverbial clauses of purpose occupy a special position, as they indicate the goal, intention, or aim behind an action.Adverbial clauses of condition, which specify the circumstances under which an action in the main clause may occur. These clauses enhance clarity and logical structure in discourse by indicating possibilities, requirements, and hypothetical situations that influence the outcome of events.

LEE-YANG TEOREMASINI N=2 HOLAT UCHUN ISBOTLASH

There are many interrelated theories in mathematical physics and complex analysis, among which the Lee-Yang theorem has a special place. This theorem plays an important role in statistical physics and the theory of phase transitions. By analyzing the roots of polynomials in the complex plane, it allows to study the behavior of physical systems. Also, this theorem is considered as a theoretical basis of thermodynamic limit and state transitions in physics. The main importance of the Lee-Yang theorem is that it geometrically limits the roots of polynomials of complex variables and helps to determine the properties of statistical systems. The main goal of this study is to provide a detailed mathematical proof of the Lee-Yang theorem for the cases n=2 and n=3 and to study its significance in relation to statistical physics.
