The use of technology has become an important part of the learning process in and out of the class. Every language class usually uses some form of technology. Technology has been used to mutually help and progress language learning. Technology enables teachers to adapt classroom activities, thus enhancing the language learning process. Technology continues to grow in importance as a tool to help teachers facilitate language learning for their

learners. This learning focuses on the role of using new technologies in learning English as a second/foreign language. This article examines the impact of AI on language learning within the context of South Korea, a country widely recognized for its advanced digital education infrastructure. Using a conceptual and policy-based analysis combined with a mini case study approach, the study explores how AI-supported tools are integrated into language education and how these practices contribute to South Korea’s role as a model for digital education. The findings indicate that AI enhances learner autonomy, efficiency, and accessibility, while also presenting challenges related to digital inequality and ethical concerns. DIGITAL STORY TELLING AS A METHOD FOR TEACHING ENGLISH

Digital story telling is a modern and effective method used in teaching English, combining traditional storytelling techniques with digital tools such as videos, images, audio recordings, and interactive media. This approach engages students actively, enhances their language skills, and fosters creativity and critical thinking. By integrating technology into language learning, teachers can create more dynamic and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles. Digital story telling encourages students to construct narratives, express ideas clearly, and practice vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in meaningful contexts. It also promotes collaboration and communication among students, as they often work in groups to create digital stories. This method is particularly significant in the  classroom, where digital literacy is as important as language proficiency. In order to promote better pronunciation, fluency, and conversational confidence, this study addresses the integration of chatbots, speech recognition software, and language learning platforms. By enabling more individualized learning experiences, these tools increase student engagement and enhance results. While there are prospects for AI to modernize language acquisition, there are also worries about an excessive dependence on technology and the possible decline in human interaction. To guarantee thorough language development that preserves interpersonal relationships and cultural sensitivity, it is crucial to strike a balance between the integration of AI and conventional techniques.
