HYDROLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL INDICATORS OF THE TUYEMOYIN AMUDARYA WATER

The article examines the hydrological and chemical changes of the Amu Darya River in the Tuyamuyin reservoir area. Analysis of 1963–2025 data shows a sharp decrease in water discharge and a significant increase in mineralization, exceeding permissible limits by 2–3 times. These changes complicate drinking water supply in Karakalpakstan. The study highlights the need for effective sedimentation and desalination methods to improve water quality and ensure sustainable water management.

WATER RESOURCES QUALITY MANAGEMENT

The article provides information on water-resources quality management in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also discusses water-quality issues, including environmental requirements for water, as well as ensuring the sustainability of investment in the water-management sector. Improving the quality of water resources cannot be separated from regional water-resources management. The management of irrigation facilities likewise plays a major role in water-resources governance. Reservoir and water-control infrastructure in the basin has been created to meet the needs of the entire basin.

IMPORTANCE OF FORECASTING WATERING OF GAS CONDENSATE WELLS (ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE KHALISMATOV-NAZAROV-NURMUKHAMEDOV METHOD)

One of the main problems in the development of gas condensate wells is the increasing water cut during production period. This factor significantly affects well operation modes and in the most cases does not allow achieving full drainage of gas reserves and, consequently, the planned gas and condensate recovery factors (GRF/CRF). Taking into account the indicated circumstance, there is an urgent need for an operational forecast of watering, which requires the development of a specific methodology individually for each operational facility. The main key factor in the operational forecast of watering is the express application of the results based on analysis of newly received well logging and well testing data for monitoring field development, as well as selected samples of reservoir fluids when compiling well operation parameters.

RESERVOIRS ARE A THREAT IN EMERGENCIES AREAS AND WAYS TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF THE POPULATION TO REDUCE THEIR CONSEQUENCES

The article considers the fact that there is a high probability of emergency situations on the basis of comparing seismically active zones and analyzing population density maps with a map of regions where reservoirs are located in Uzbekistan, increasing the population's potential to reduce the consequences of the flood threat for the population living in areas around reservoirs and discussed issues of preliminary  determination of the evacuation zone, determination of categories of displaced population, the number of tents, their placement, organization of a hygienic cycle in a tent city in order to maintain the life of the population
