In this article, the significance and effectiveness of didactic games in the formation of lexical competence of primary school students are deeply analyzed. The article highlights the importance of didactic games in expanding vocabulary, developing speech, and increasing students' interest in language. Also, as a result of the implementation of game methods in the educational process, the formation of active thinking, communication culture, and creative thinking in students is explained on a scientific basis.
