It is known that terms, like simple words, are formed from words and roots existing in the general and special lexicon. The system of terms of the Uzbek language, like other related Turkic languages, includes existing structural types, namely simple, artificial, compound, abbreviation and word combinations. There are enough tasks to be done to improve Uzbek terminology. Today, the Uzbek language is undergoing a comprehensive process of improvement in the field of terminology. Terms are formed by their own characteristics. They are mainly used in a denotative (meaning) sense. However, it is known that live speech is very rich and colorful, and in it terms can also lose their meaning, among which you can find phenomena such as homonymy, synonymy, polysemy, and in terms of the structure of terms, you can see that they have their place in our language. It is advisable to create a short dictionary of terms in school textbooks, especially for the 5th grade native language textbook, and implement it in a way that is understandable to students.
