ROBOTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: THE ROLE OF AI IN ROBOTS

Artificial Intelligence and Robotics have a common root and a (relatively) long history of interaction and scientific discussion.
The birth of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics takes place in the same period (’50), and initially there was no clear distinction between the two disciplines. The reason is that the notion of “intelligent machine” naturally leads to robots and Robotics. One might argue that not every machine is a robot, and certainly Artificial Intelligence is concerned also with virtual agents (i.e. agents that are not embodied in a physical machine). On the other hand, many of the technical problems and solutions that are needed in order to design robots are not dealt with by Artificial Intelligence research. A clear separation between the fields can be seen in the ’70, when Robotics becomes more focused on industrial automation, while Artificial Intelligence uses robots to demonstrate that machines can act also in everyday environments

APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES IN HISTORY EDUCATION

The article discusses the possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies in training future historians. As you know, the most popular artificial intelligence chatbot currently is the ChatGPT application. Unfortunately, access to this service for users from Russia and Belarus is currently limited. However, there are many third-party applications free from such restrictions that use the ChatGPT API and solve similar problems. The article analyzes three of the most interesting and useful of these services: Phind.com - a search engine for researchers, Talkai.info - a service that provides access to ChatGPT in Russian, Explainlikeimfive.io - an application that explains complex concepts and concepts. Examples are given of the use of the above services in planning, organizing and conducting the educational process at the faculty that trains historians. It is shown that the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies will lead to a radical change in approaches to organizing the educational process, its structure and content. According to some experts, by the end of 2026, ninety percent of the content on the Internet will be generated by artificial intelligence. This cannot but affect educational content posted on the Internet. In conclusion, it is noted that, unfortunately, solutions obtained using deep neural networks are often impossible to verify. This naturally reduces their value. That is why it is still difficult to judge how the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence technologies will affect the quality of specialist training.

THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HYSTEROSCOPY: FROM SUBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT TO OBJECTIVE DIAGNOSIS

Hysteroscopy is one of the key methods for diagnosing intrauterine pathology; however, interpretation of hysteroscopic findings largely depends on the clinician’s experience and image quality, which leads to diagnostic variability and an increased risk of errors. In recent years, artificial intelligence has emerged as a promising tool to enhance objectivity and reproducibility in visual diagnostics within endoscopy. This article analyzes the current state of research on the application of artificial intelligence in hysteroscopy, with an emphasis on the transition from subjective visual assessment to objective diagnosis. The main directions of artificial intelligence development in endoscopy, achieved results, and existing limitations are reviewed, along with the experience of applying similar technologies in related medical fields. Special attention is given to the current status of research in the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to the opportunities arising from ongoing healthcare reforms and digitalization initiatives. The findings indicate that the integration of artificial intelligence algorithms into hysteroscopic practice has significant potential to improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce interobserver variability, and standardize the interpretation of hysteroscopic video signals, thereby justifying the need for further research in this field.

This article analyzes the relationship between the recognition of artificial intelligence as a legal person and its criminal liability from a theoretical and practical perspective. The author evaluates the degree of autonomy of artificial intelligence systems, the ability to make informed decisions, and the criteria for freedom of will from the point of view of legal subjectivity. The article comparatively studies the national experiences of Japan, the USA, the European Union, and China, and analyzes the ways of determining the legal status of artificial intelligence based on different legal approaches. According to the results of the study, the legal personality and criminal liability of artificial intelligence have a complementary, systematic and dialectical relationship, and the need to develop international legal standards in this area is substantiated. For Uzbekistan, proposals are put forward on the formation of national legal mechanisms based on the experience of Europe and Japan.
