THE ROLE OF A PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST IN PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION TO PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Adaptation to professional activity is the process of a person entering a profession, expressed in its goals, content, technologies, means of implementation, order and intensity of activity, production and labor discipline, organizational rules and norms, and flexibility to other requirements. It is believed that external assistance from professional psychologists, including instructors, reduces the difficulties of adaptation and contributes to success in overcoming difficulties in ensuring adaptation to the social conditions in which a specialist's professional activity takes place. In this sense, the peculiarities of adaptation to professional activity have been analyzed.

THE PSYCHOLOGICAL ESSENCE OF THE CONCEPT OF “ADAPTATION” IN EDUCATION

The article examines the problem of personality adaptation and self-adaptation in the context of higher education, with a particular focus on first-year university students. The transition from school to university is accompanied by significant psychological, social, and academic challenges that often result in difficulties in mastering educational programs, decreased academic performance, and increased dropout rates. The study analyzes adaptation as a prerequisite for active learning and successful functioning of students within a new social and educational environment. "STUTTERING AND SOCIAL ADAPTATION IN CHILDREN: CHALLENGES IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT" (SOCIAL PROBLEMS FACED BY STUTTERING CHILDREN AT SCHOOL.)

Stuttering in children can present significant challenges in the school environment, affecting both their social adaptation and academic performance. Children who stutter often face social exclusion, bullying, and negative peer interactions, which can lead to isolation and diminished self-esteem. The difficulties in participating in verbal classroom activities may contribute to anxiety and avoidance behaviors, further hindering their social development. Teachers and peers who lack awareness and understanding of stuttering can unintentionally reinforce these challenges. However, with appropriate support systems, including speech therapy, awareness education, and a more inclusive classroom environment, children who stutter can overcome these obstacles. This paper explores the various social problems faced by children who stutter at school, the impact of these challenges on their emotional well-being, and recommendations for creating a supportive and understanding school environment.

METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT FOR ADAPTATION PROCESSES

The process of educating foreign students in medical universities is characterized by multifactorial specificity, caused not only by general problems of academic and sociocultural adaptation but also by the peculiarities of medical education, including high intensity of academic workload, the need to master professional terminology in a non-native language, early interaction with patients in a foreign language environment, as well as ethical and deontological aspects of the medical profession that have culturally determined specificity. Together, these factors create a significant psycho-emotional burden on foreign students, potentially reducing the effectiveness of the educational process and negatively affecting the formation of professional competencies of future doctors.

THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES ON ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CORPORATE ADAPTATION IN THE EASTERN PARTNERSHIP COUNTRIES

In the contemporary global economy, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies are reshaping business models, redefining competitiveness, and altering traditional management structures. This paper analyzes how AI-driven transformation influences corporate adaptation and strategic expansion across the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine. Using a comparative methodology and a blend of qualitative and quantitative research, the study identifies the main challenges impeding AI implementation, including insufficient funding, weak digital infrastructure, and limited regulatory capacity. Drawing on OECD and World Bank statistics, as well as field surveys conducted in Azerbaijan, the findings demonstrate that while digital transformation initiatives exist, their effectiveness remains constrained by structural limitations. The research further compares these outcomes with the practices of developed economies such as the USA, Germany, and South Korea, highlighting that systematic policy support, innovation ecosystems, and human capital development are essential for sustainable AI integration.

THE GROWING TENDENCY OF CHOOSING LIFE ABROAD: MOTIVATIONS, OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

In recent decades, global migration has become one of the most significant social phenomena shaping the 21st century. An increasing number of individuals from various countries are choosing to live abroad in search of better educational opportunities, improved living standards, financial stability, and cultural diversity. This study explores the underlying motivations behind the growing trend of migration, focusing on both opportunities and challenges faced by people who settle abroad. The research employs a qualitative approach based on secondary data analysis, academic sources, and international migration reports. Results indicate that while migration provides access to quality education, employment, and cross-cultural experiences, it also creates challenges such as cultural adaptation, language barriers, discrimination, and psychological issues like homesickness. The discussion emphasizes the dual nature of migration: although it creates promising prospects for personal and professional growth, it requires strong resilience and support systems. The paper concludes that policymakers should address migration challenges by creating sustainable integration policies, and individuals should be prepared for both advantages and struggles of living abroad.

EDUCATIONAL AND COGNITIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF LEFT-HANDED SCHOOL STUDENTS: EVIDENCE FROM A SMALL-SCALE EMPIRICAL STUDY

Educational environments are typically structured around right-handed motor patterns, which may inadvertently disadvantage learners with alternative handedness profiles. This study examines how left-handedness shapes cognitive engagement and learning experiences among school students. Using a small-scale empirical design, data were collected from students aged 11–15 through task-based cognitive activities, learner-focused questionnaires, and systematic classroom observations. Rather than relying on broad statistical generalizations, the analysis emphasizes pattern recognition and qualitative distinctions between left-handed and right-handed participants. The results reveal that left-handed students employ distinctive cognitive approaches in problem-solving contexts while encountering increased ergonomic and instructional friction during routine classroom activities. These findings suggest that observed learning challenges are predominantly environmentally induced rather than ability-based. By introducing a context-sensitive pedagogical adaptation framework, this research contributes original empirical insight into handedness-responsive educational design and supports more inclusive school practices
